LIFT helped me grow in many areas of my life. The leadership skills and spiritual leadership practice I gained have made me a better husband and spiritual leader in my marriage. Working in a secular environment, I do my best to apply the spiritual disciplines I’ve learned and seek to share the Gospel with my coworkers. LIFT provided a solid foundation for living a Christ-centered life, and I’m grateful for the experience.

LIFT completely transformed my understanding of the Gospel and every believer's calling in the Great Commission. Through classes, my knowledge and compassion for people who have never heard the Gospel grew exponentially, and eventually the Holy Spirit led me to pursue long-term missions overseas. LIFT prepared me in countless ways and gave me a true passion for the work the Lord has called me to do.

Through Spiritual Transformation classes, classmates or mentors' examples, and practicing of spiritual disciplines, I really saw what living for God can truly look like. Living in such small, tight community really brought to light any selfish tendencies I had and gave me a space to learn how to see and love others as Jesus did.

My year in LIFT helped me to grow in a deeper love of my relationship with the Lord. LIFT helped me learn how to treat and serve those around me as fellow image-bearers and children of God. It also allowed me space to combine my degree in Recreation Management with spiritual growth.

Before LIFT, I was anxious at the thought of leading people because I didn’t feel like I was capable of it. My experience at LIFT helped me realize my strengths and abilities. I feel more confident, knowledgeable, and empowered to step into leadership positions.

LIFT helped me develop as a servant leader in every aspect of my life. Through the program my relationship with the Lord deepened, ultimately transforming the way I view and relate to God, myself, and others.

The LIFT program taught me to practice different spiritual disciplines - how to rest, read, meditate, memorize, and soak in God's Word. After LIFT, I've been able to step back into the professional work environment ready to serve and engage with my coworkers as a servant leader who’s present with the Lord.
