TeePee/Trading Post Project
Building “On Purpose” for the Next 125 Years
Pop Tibbitts founded CAMP-of-the-WOODS so families could “vacation on purpose.” Now it’s our turn to build with the same purpose—for the next century of Christ-centered ministry.
The TeePee Has Been Part of Your Story.
Now Be Part of Its Future.
For years, the TeePee and Trading Post have been more than buildings—they’ve been places where your family grew in faith, where friendships formed, and where memories became milestones.
But time has taken its toll:
Maintenance demands and aging equipment are no longer sustainable.
Gathering areas have reached capacity during peak seasons.
The current structures weren’t built to handle the growth and year-round activity our ministry has today.
Without change, these spaces will no longer serve families as they were intended to.
For 125 years, the ministry you’ve experienced here was made possible because those before you invested in the future.
Now it’s our turn—to steward what we’ve been given, to build on purpose, and to ensure that generations yet to come will encounter Christ and make lifelong memories in a place designed for them to flourish.
A Legacy Built for Life Together
We’re not just rebuilding a building—we’re multiplying ministry.
For decades, it has been a place where families have grown closer to Christ and one another. Now, we have the opportunity to carry that legacy forward—creating a space that honors the past while becoming a launch pad for generational discipleship, year-round hospitality, and deeper fellowship. Every detail of this project has been thoughtfully designed to extend the ministry you’ve loved into the future.
Multiply the Mission
Your support helps us serve 18,000+ lives each year!
Your Role
You can play a key role in building the future where thousands more people can experience the Gospel in this Christ-centered environment every year. These are not just numbers—they represent individuals, children, and families encountering Jesus.
Shaping a Growing Legacy
For decades, this ministry has been shaped by those who value intentional spaces for connection and faith formation. Now, as more people seek hope and community year-round, we have both the responsibility and opportunity to grow.
Strengthening Ministry
Every gift to the project multiplies the mission—creating space to welcome more families and strengthen ministry year-round. It’s about stewarding the legacy God has entrusted to us and preparing to welcome even more people into His story.
