Generous Giving for over a Decade
The Partnership Program
About the Program
The Partnership Program is an annual fund comprised of an association of members, volunteers, friends, and staff committed to working together to strengthen and continue the ministry of CAMP-of-the-WOODS. Your partnership will help us assemble a solid economic base that blesses future generations through giving in the categories of people, programs, and projects.
Historical Investment: 2005-2022
Between January 2005 and December 2022, the Camp community has invested over 30 million dollars into this ministry, enabling Camp to thrive in supporting people, invest in mission-focused programs, and maintain renewed facilities (projects) for members, guests, campers, and staff to experience rest and rejuvenation in God’s beautiful creation.
Donors’ Impact in Recent Years
People. Programs. Projects.
Approximately $900,000 is invested every year into the annual fund. Without your annual support, we would not be able to effectively operate. Your support enables Kingdom impact to take place 365 days a year!
-
Reduced Inflation for Members & Increased Staff Compensation
In recent years, COTW has absorbed the cost of inflation for members, making Camp more affordable and accessible to families.
COTW has also increased the compensation pool for summer staff over the last two years making this incredible opportunity more accessible for excellent, mission-aligned summer staff members.
-
Mission-aligned Interns
Your donations have funded the internship program, which trains young professionals with the goal of helping them launch into the career world. This program trains up young professionals with the goal of helping them to launch into the world. In this program, they learn how to study their Bibles, attend professional development classes, learn servant-leadership, and work alongside various department leaders at Camp.
-
Discipleship Expansion
In the last two years, COTW has launched various discipleship opportunities for members and staff that have provided tools to practice spiritual disciplines, invited speakers to speak on relevant topics in our culture, allowed over 60 members to participate in our online Bible study, GOTW@COTW (GOD of the WORD at CAMP-of-the-WOODS), and sent members and staff on short-term mission trips to Ecuador and India.
-
Chaplain Program
Over the years, our summer chaplains have made a huge impact on the lives of our members. In 2023 alone, they met and prayed with an average of 30-40 members each day. Through prayer and godly counsel, many members have returned home more encouraged than when they arrived.
-
Major Projects
Over the last 20+ years, Camp has been committed to renovating guest and staff accommodations. As of Summer 2025, every CAMP-of-the-WOODS’ member accommodation, Tapawingo camper cabin, and staff housing unit will have been renovated. This also includes the Customer Service Center, Larsen Lodge, the Sonju Sports Complex, and the playground.
-
Preventative Maintenace
To steward the renovation work of the last 20 years, COTW has invested in a new preventative maintenance software (in 2024) and continues to put resources toward systematically maintaining COTW’s infrastructure, including member accommodations, staff housing, the Dining Halls, Tibbitts Auditorium, recreational facilities, roads, etc.

Moving Forward
Since 2005
Since the start of this program, our partners have helped us fund over $30 Million to support the annual fund!
2023 & Beyond
As we plan for the future impact of CAMP-of-the-WOODS, financial prioritization is shifting from the facilities to investing in the very people and programs that make this ministry what it is!
Advanced Planning
This program enhancement is a key financial catalyst because it better enables us to manage costs while simultaneously honoring the people and programs associated with this ministry.
Goals for the Future
As we head into the future, your generous support will…
Educate young disciples and professionals year-round
Ensure affordable and purposeful experiences for families and staff who desire to grow and connect in a Christ-centered environment
Invest in local and global impact where the Word is studied and the Gospel is preached
Maintain preventative maintenance by systematically tracking projects and utilizing resources wisely
Steward major projects of $300K or more that provide purposeful vacation experiences (ie. TeePee/Trading Post Major Project)
Embracing COTW’s 125th Anniversary
As we near this milestone, we hope you get as excited as we do when we think about God’s goodness through history and the spiritual impact families have experienced here. As we continue to join God in His work through this ministry, we aim to accomplish this through the new TeePee/Trading Post major building project! We hope to build a foundation for the future, building a legacy that enriches future generations.

Your Gifts Matter - Here’s Why
Ben’s story is one out of many that you have helped make a difference in.
From summer staff to LIFT to joining the Internship Program, meeting his wife, and becoming full-time at COTW, it is clear that God has been shaping his narrative and fulfilling his promise in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
